CONDITIONS & SYMPTOMS
Many seek chiropractic care because they suffer from many types of pain, chronic illness or poor general health. These symptoms may be an indication that you may have spinal nerve interference. Regardless of your symptoms, the doctor will evaluate the entire spine for spinal subluxations.
Spinal subluxations are misaligned and/or malfunctioning vertebrae. The irritation that occurs to the surrounding tissue, including the nerves, is why subluxations can cause pain, illness and poor general health. However, depending on the type of nerve irritated, the area of the body relying on that nerve may be affected without any pain. Chiropractors are trained to correct these potential harmful spinal subluxations with a series of adjustments.
Adjustments are the processes used to restore normal alignment and function to these malfunctioning vertebrae (subluxations).
